On Mothers day 2012 my family and I went for a three day holiday to Sydney. On Friday two days before Mothers day we arrived at the big airport of Sydney. It had been a long hour and a half in the aeroplane. When we arrived we caught a taxi to a fantastic hotel called the Shangri – La Hotel , it was approximately 15-20 minutes from the airport and $35 per taxi. From our big window in our room we could see the big view of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge, there was no one in front of us and we could see every boat that went in or out of the harbour we all felt special. Then we caught a taxi from the hotel to the city it was approximately 5-10 minutes. In the city the best shopping for jewellery and clothes was George st and off George st were many big shopping centres and chocolate shops. After hours in the city we walked back to the hotel and had a swim in the heated pool and spa. Then we jumped into bed ready for tomorrow. The next morning we woke up and went to breakfast we had pancakes, then we walked to the markets and bought maccarons, cupcakes, deliciuus hot chocolates and lanps for our room at home. Then Mum found some nice clothes and bought then after looking at them for ages,we then went down to the edge of the water and looked at the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House. We then walked back to the hotel then went to a park and art gallery.Later on we went on a Sunset Cruise and had dinner,we got back late, had a swim then went to bed.On Mothers day we went to Guylian Mums favourite hot chocolate shop and got hot chocolate and red valvet cupcakes. Then we went to the fish market and had Yum Cha.Then we went back to the hotel, got in even warmer clothes and walked to the Opera house and looked inside. Then we went back to the hotel, got our bags and got into a taxi to go to the airport. When we were at the airport we got through chek-in,went through x ray and boarded at our gate.We had a fantastic holiday.
